Our full service glasses dispensary has hundreds of frames to choose from.  Our knowledgeable staff will assist you is choosing the right frame and lenses for your particular situation.  Very competitive pricing starts at $169 for single vision, $209 for bifocals, and $279 for progressives, complete with frames, lenses, scratch coat, and case.

Retinal photography is an important added element of a thorough eye exam.  It detects a variety of eye conditions much earlier than other techniques.  We recommend having this done every 2-3 years, or more frequently if a condition is being monitored.  As this is not an OHIP covered procedure,  there is a nominal charge for this service.
If the doctor determines that an analysis of your peripheral vision is required, a field study will be scheduled to determine the neurological functioning of the retina and visual pathways.

We honour all government eyecare programs including OHIP, ODSP, DVA, Ontario Works, RCMP, Military, and Indian Affairs.  We are able to directly submit your insurance claims if you are set up for online claims for Manulife, Green Shield, Blue Cross, Desjardins, Great West Life, Industrial Alliance, Johnston, and Standard Life.  Other insurance plans need to be submitted manually by yourself.  Those patients under 20 or over 65 are recommended to have an eye exam every 12-18 months and those between 20-65 should be seen every 18-24 months.  Those under 20 or over 65 are covered yearly by OHIP for an eye exam.  Patients with diabetes, cataract, glaucoma, retinal disease, strabismus, or on social assistance are also covered by OHIP for your eye exam.  Otherwise, exams are $110 with retinal photography being $30 extra.
